Spooky Face Pumpkin Seeds

Halloween just isn't complete without a pumpkin, and it's even better if the little gardener has grown it themself.  Pumpkins are perfect for beginner gardeners.  The seeds are large enough to handle easily and they germinate readily.  Sow in an 8cm pot inside during March-May.  Plant out into a sunny spot in the garden in late May-early June when all frosts have gone.  Water well and watch out for tiny pumpkins forming after the flowers have withered away.  The pumpkins will grow rapidly and be ready for harvesting in autumn.
