The Story

Grow some tasty strawberries with this complete, growing kit, exclusive to Gardening for Kids! This children's growing kit contains a red 8cm bamboo plant pot, a peat-free coir disc and strawberry 'Temptation' seeds: all you need to start growing strawberry plants on a sunny windowsill indoors.

Sow indoors in January-April.  When plants are large enough to handle, transfer them into individual pots and keep growing on.  In late May-early June plant them up into peat-free compost in patio pots, hanging baskets or a veg patch.  Place in a sunny, sheltered spot outdoors.
